BellMe Wireless Calling System

Nurse Call Systems Distributor for South Africa with 5 Year Warranty

Allowing instant attention of the nurses with the simple press of a wireless nurse call button

How BellMe Wireless Nurse Call Systems work

Each patient or resident will have a Nurse Call Button that is 100% waterproof and can be mounted on any flat surface or worn on a lanyard like a call button necklace.

When the patient or resident need the assistance of a nurse or caregiver, they simply press the wireless nurse call button (which is very easy to notice and press even with limited mobility).

The nurse or caregiver then receives the alert instantly via a variety of receivers such as a wristwatch that they can wear on a Lanyard or on their arm, or on a Display Panel, mounted at the nurse’s station to indicate which patient or resident requires assistance.

You also have the option to track the response time – this can be done using the software that indicates when a nurse call button is pressed and how long it took a nurse or caregiver to respond to the resident. These reports can also be extracted to an Excel spreadsheet for record-keeping.

We’d like to thank BellMe for giving us this bell. It’s going to help our resident to prevent those incidents that happen while nurses can’t see. It’s going to be easy because the resident will press the bell then we’ll see what’s happening.

They would’ve died definitely because when they fall sometimes, for instance, we have some blind people around here whom they are far away from the nurse’s station so if we didn’t have a bell we wouldn’t get to them in time. So obviously we would find there is a major problem there.

It has saved a lot of lives. For every nursing home they should have this. It’s definitely a life saver. They rely on this bell so much that they don’t want to part with it. If they don’t have the bell: “I’m going to die”. Honestly that’s how they feel. If they don’t have this bell on their neck to them they are dead. If anything happens to them they won’t be able to ring the bell and they can’t scream nobody is going to hear them so obviously they are going to die.

The system is very very very helpful because when it rings you can see the letters very well, they are big and clear and the sound is very very clear. Even if you are far, you can hear it and it rings until you come and stop it and then you can go to the resident and help them.

There are no problems at all because there is no way that you can miss it. There is no way you can miss it and we advised the resident to check the batteries now and then so that they must not sit with a panic button with a battery that is not working.

It helps us a lot, it helps us a lot. We advise them to wear it around their neck so that anywhere they fall, in the bathroom or anywhere, if they got that accident they can just press the button and there is no way that we can miss it.

"The Nurse Call System provides communication between our patients (from their rooms and bedrooms) and our nurses to ensure our client's well-being at all times. We have peace of mind knowing that we are always available to our clients and knowing exactly who needs to help where. You can't go wrong with this system. It works really well and we have had no problems with it."

"Ushir was great assisting us with all the programming of the buttons. All my residents are now wearing their buttons around their necks… (like a medallion… lol)! Some even thought it is a good idea to do a few “test runs”, before handing the buttons out we had a few tested from different rooms and they all came through without any problems. We are very happy with the system so far and would like to thank all involved for the speedy and efficient way things were dealt with."

Petro Fourie

"It has proven to be very useful and as it is extremely simple to use our residents do not have to learn complicated systems which they might struggle to remember in an emergency. It has been put to very effective use on a great number of occasions providing quick responses to calls for help."
